The Hyogo Business and Cultural Center was founded by Japan's Hyogo Prefectural Government to strengthen the sister state relationship with Washington State. We assist business activity, cultural programs, and Japanese education.








ICC Consultants Inc.

Established in 1973, ICC Consultants is an international study consulting company, headquartered in Tokyo, offering an array of international exchange programs. ICC's commitment to excellence, and unique approach to exchange study programs continues to earn the trust of over one thousand participants annually.





Japan-America Society of the State of Washington

The mission of JASSW is to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of Japan and Washington State by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. JASSW was founded on July 24, 1923 by leaders from Seattle’s business, academic, and diplomatic communities. Today, we maintain a diverse membership of Japanese and American corporations and individuals from throughout the state and provide varied programs that build positive U.S.-Japan relations.The Society is one of 38 independent members of the National Association of Japan-America Societies.



Dedicated to preserving and sharing Japanese and Japanese American culture. We provide a wide variety of educational, cultural, recreational and social programs as well as a central community gathering place for events and functions.

Kenjin Kai

Promoting various prefecures in Japan

Our ancestors came various Prefectures some over 100 years ago and others less than two years, gathered together for social and economic support. Today, most Kenjin Kai gather to keep our history of our ancestors alive: hosting our annual New Year's Party Celebrations and planning other activities throughout the year.


Megumi Preschool

Megumi preschool was founded in September of 1992 in Seattle, Washington. Since then we have expanded adding another location in Bellevue, Washington. We watch children anywhere from 4 months old to 5 years of age. Here at Megumi Preschool children learn Japanese through daily activities and weekly special classes such as Music, PeeWee, Japanese, art, etc. We are committed to food education and making sure that all of our meals are well balanced. Inside of this fun ahd healthy environment we want to embrace each child and support them to help each child become the best that they can become.

The Seattle Go Center teaches and shares the Asian strategy board game of Go (also known as igo, baduk and weiqi). They have their own building in the University District, near I-5.

The Seattle Chapter of Japanese American Citizens League

The Seattle Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League is the nation's oldest Asian American civil and human rights organization. We are committed to empowering and supporting the Seattle community.




Tomoshibi Library

This volunteer operated Japanese library shelves more than 20,000 donated books since 1991. Currently only open on Saturdays at BCA, a weekday open at Jubilee REACH is planned for fall.
